Suspected Heart attack? - Symptoms and Self-help First Aid   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #252 of 1063 |

Cardiac arrest (heart attack) used to be primarily a concern for old people and
middle-aged high-pressure male executives with coronary thrombosis.

However, with the general rise in population stress levels, unhealthy eating
habits and obesity, heart attacks are becoming more common in both sexes and in
all age groups.

Most people are alone when (suspected) heart attack symptoms come on.

You might even be driving your car.

What immediate first aid measures can you take? You can't do CPR on yourself! Or
can you?

A "PowerPoint" animated slide presentation illustrating suggested first aid
action has come available and I have uploaded a copy to our files archive.
