Re: Animal Communication and Healing

Hi Jim!

Looks like my posting was very timely for you - wonderful!

Actually, Jim, I have been treading this path for some years - first trained in
animal communication in the 1990s with the animal psychic [she prefers
"hypersensitive" to psychic] Anne Wilson, and have also spent a lot of time with
the Hong-Kong based animal communication expert, Rosina Maria Arquati, who is
married to a vet who was a fellow student with me. One day I will write up some
of my personal experiences in this area!

The door of energy healing with animals was opened for me in 2001 on a course
with Carmen Kolz (then Carmen Lawitzke), a former intensive care nurse who
trained in TT (Therapeutic Touch) just as it was gaining a hold in the nursing
profession. She went on to develop TT and Reiki-style distance healing for
animals. I wrote about this initial experience of mine here:

Using my Professional Energy Healing and medical intuitive skills, I am
currently working successfully in a healing and communication capacity with some
dogs locally and a horse distantly.

In that same posting I mention that healers working with animals need to be
aware that animals are heavily and directly protected in UK law and if doing any
healing or medical intuitive work you need to take careful precautions [see my
previous post quoted above] to stay the right side of the law - even if you are
not charging for your services and owners have requested help. When she worked
in the UK, Carmen only worked under the aegis of veterinary practices.

I am sure that you are aware of these considerations, Jim, but I mention it in
case any other CHEAL members are travelling this road and not yet "up to speed"
with the law.

Good luck with your own journey and work in this area, Jim!

Mike
