A series of extraordinary Tarot workshops conducted by Diane Wilkes

** Beginning Tarot: Learning to Read the Cards Without the Book. **
We will focus on the Major Arcana the first day, along with
journaling techniques and simple tarot spreads. In the following two
classes, we will cover the Minor Arcana and Court Cards, as well as
tarot ethics, reading for others, and devising tarot spreads.
Lecture, discussion, guided meditation and various exercises will
help you to integrate the tarot on every level and develop a
personal relationship with your cards. The class has been scheduled
with one week off between each class to provide the time for you
to practice what you have learned, so that you absorb all the
material. If you have been wanting to learn to read that deck
you've had for years, this is your chance to start putting those
cards to work and develop your tarot practice.

** About Your Workshop Instructor **
Diane Wilkes conceived of and wrote the book for Storyteller Tarot,
a Majors- Only tarot deck that correlates each of the Major Arcana
to a story. In addition to being webmistress of Tarot Passages, she
conducts tarot workshops around the country and teaches tarot in the
Philadelphia, PA area. She also maintains an astrological and tarot
practice. She has a Master's Degree in English, has been published
in numerous magazines, and has been reading the cards for over 30
years. She is presently working on her second book and deck, The Jane
Austen Tarot, which will be published by Lo Scarabeo in 2005. She is
a Certified Tarot Grand Master, a member of the American Tarot
Association (ATA)and serves on the ATA Education Committee.
