This group promotes awareness of the harmful effects of psychiatric drugs, involuntary hospitalization, and other psychiatric interventions. We seek to erase the stigma of "mental illness" and emotional struggles by restoring health naturally, providing a place to share your feelings about your own maltreatment by psychiatry, and correcting misinformation perpetuated about mental disorders. We believe that victims of psychiatric interventions deserve as much respect and recourse as victims of any other harmful medical treatment.

We support anyone interested in learning about drug use prevention, "alternative" or spiritual healing and therapy, and we encourage research into the truth about drugs and psychiatric treatment, funding for legal aid and education for those who have been harmed by psychiatry, as well as compensation to victims and their families.

Every day the right to give informed consent is taken from patients by drug companies, psychiatrists and ordinary doctors who claim that mental illnesses are proven biochemical diseases which are effectively treated by taking medication. Without reporting of all medical trials and post-marketing adverse event reports to the public, we are forced to put our total faith in the drug companies and the doctors who promote their products.

Without prescription medications included in treatment, there is little profit to be made off of the mentally ill. Science is far from understanding the complex human brain, and tampering with its processes is doing more harm than good.

We must pursue wellness without doing harm to patients, and we need to seek natural, safe healing, not a bottle of pills to make us whole.
