Hi all,

I just joined this group. We are the parents of 6 wonderful kids..ranging in ages from 13 to 5.5 yrs old. Our youngest daughter has CP (spastic diplegia). P also has ADHD combined type. We were told this is very common in children who have CP.

We have tried everything and now we have agreed to try her on meds to help her focus and stay on task.

She will be re-doing kindergarten next year as we hope this will give her an extra boost. She is the youngest in the classroom this year.

We are a little nervous to start meds for ADHD...have any of your children started meds for ADHD?

How did things turn out for your child?

We are worried of course of the side effects...
