| Have they given you a date that you have to be out? It usually takes about six months to process a foreclosure. A friend of mine is in foreclosure, and she has to be out by august. they can refuse to take a partial payment (less than the total needed to bring it current). If you really want to save your house (can you afford it if there weren't a past due amount?). you could consider bankruptcy. It's not a guarantee, but sometimes you can get your loan rewritten that way.
