"PERCS" ortho sugery for spasticity   Message List

Can anyone give me info on PERCS?...here is what I know...but I want
practical info and firsthand experience....
Selective Percutaneous Myofascial Lengthening of the hamstrings, groin
area(for scissoring) ankle calf and heel cords....Dr Nuzzo in New
Jersey pioneered this procedure..... Dr Yngve in Texas also does the
procedure among others
But does anyone have any info on the procedure....first hand
experience or even research you have done on PERCS.....we are thinking
about it for Cayden. Botox really is not working for her. We want
something that will work but without the repeat rate of "traditional"
tendon lengthening etc...

Thanks!
Castle

Castle - My daughter (spastic diplegia) was a real toe walker at age five and had PERC procedures done on both heel cords by Dr. Nuzzo in Summit, New Jersey....
