Well we got back from Advance yesterday, we had a great week.
Exercise programme is easy enough. Fitting it into his already hectic
routine will be the hard part.
His Gastrostomy Diet is as follows:
BREAKFAST:
Organic Basmati rice, cooked, liquidised and strained with Organic
Soya Milk.
OR
Organic Porridge with Soya Milk liquidised and strained
Supplements:
Childrens Acidophilis (provides healthy intestinal microflora),
Lecithin(provides essential nutrients for brain and nerves),
Vitasorb multivitamins.
MIDDAY:
Organic Apple Juice
Supplements:
FOS (Fructooligosaccharides) encourages growth of benificial gut
bacteria and improves bowel activity.
LUNCH:
Nanny Goat Formula
Supplements:
Flaxseed Oil (helps oxygen uilisation and strengthens tissues of
lungs as well as intestinal tract).
Vitamin C Vitasorb (aids healthy supports immunity)
Vitasorb Co Q10 (helps cells differenciation and facilitates oxygen
use)
MID AFTERNOON:
Organic Carrot Juice
Supplements:
Mix Juice with wheatgrass powder (contains broad spectrum of amino
acids, minerals, fatty acids, enzymes, minerals and vitamins).
TEA (not to be given after 6pm):
Organic Basmati Rice / Bean / Lentil Soup with Organic Vegtables,
Onion and Garlic with Organic Soya Milk.
Supplements:
FOS and Lecithin
EVENING SNACK:
Soya Milk / Spring Water / Herbal Tea = Peppermint/Fennel = as
digestive aids.
It's only been a few days and he's already a lot more alert and best
of all is not vomiting. We just hope it continues.
