Any questions or comments you have: Our son was recently diagnosed
with Mixed CP. Although my husband and I had an idea something was
wrong, his diagnosis is still sinking in. He is currently receiving
PT/OT 1x/wk. Ismael started sitting at 15 months, but he cannot get
into a sitting position on his own. He does not roll or stand. My
heart breaks for my son when I see the frustration in his eyes, he
wants to move, but his arms betray him- They are weak and lack
coordination. Any thoughts on other treatments that I should look
into would be greatly appreciated. Is he too young to increase the
number of PT sessions he receives a week? Are there any parents in
the group who has a child with a similar CP diagnosis? If so, I would
be more than happy to read about what I have to look forward to in the
coming months and years. Thanks.
