Cayden Update, Surgery soon   Message List

Well, Cayden has been struggleing with aspiration pneumonias she has
been getting sick about every other month....ugggg...and it is hard to
kick needing a few different oral antibiotics and a shot of
antibiotic.....yuck...
She is vomiting very often now...it is a daily thing with just about
every feeding...I am sure her fundo has come undone...sooooo we have a
upper GI scheduled for next week then the following week(on the 16th)
Cayden will have an appt with her surgeon...so if the upper GI shows
the fundo is loose or undone then she will be having another surgery
very soon...cuz she has to have the surgery early in June or sooner if
possible...because in July the week of the 9th she will be having stem
cells again..and they want her to have at least a month between surgery
and stem cells....sooooooooo we are going to try to push the sugery
through very quickly.
hmmmmmmmm what else is new with Cayden....oh her PT moved so she now
does not have a PT...they center she goes to for PT desided that she
was not progressing enough so they quit her PT and she now only gets OT
through them...and that is only because I PUSHED for it...they were
even going to stop OT stating well she does not "like" it so lets just
do swim therapy for now...ugggg!!! needless to say we ARE changing
therapy centers...I found another place not to far and they seem pretty
aggressive on therapies and will give her MORE therapy if not
progressing and meeting milestones as apposed to stoping therapy...they
also do suit therapy 3 hours a day 5 days a week for 3 weeks....so we
will work up to Caydne tolerating that amount of time and FOR SURE be
doing suit therapy soon.

Not sure what else there is to report...if something else comes up I
will let you all know.
