my son wears braces on his feet also, we didn't go anywhere special for his shoes, I think we bought them from Babies R Us, for like 8 dollars. Our therapists basically said, that the shoe doesn't matter as long as the fit the braces. You can go to stride rite, they have extra wide shoes, and have shoes that have extended velcro on them. But they are really pricey, so it all depends on how much you want to spend. Wal-mart has a lot of good shoes also. Just keep in mind that you can take the sole out of the shoe to make them deeper, and find a wide shoe, most people like velcro, but myself I like shoe laces, I can loosen them more. If you are really intent of finding "brace shoes" ask the therapist that fits the braces, they usually know, or will share the information with you when you pick them up. Hope that helps.
