Hello my name is Connie and I have a 3 year old daughter with severe
spastic dystonia cp. I wanted to say to you christy, don't give up.
There is such a large spectrum for cp, that alot of times it takes a
while to get a diagnosis.I just can't believe they haven't with your
child yet. Try to be patient. There is alot of info. you
can find on the web, but I know of a good book to read. It's
called Children with Cerebral Palsy "a parents guide." It helped me
understand that first of all,I not alone. Secondly there are many
stages that a parent goes through in dealing with ALL OF IT! Each
chapter was written by parents dealing with the same issues that we are
right know. They know what we are going through.Docs. don't have all
the answers they are human too. So unless they experience what we are
first hand, you just have to bare with them. I wish you all the best.
