Hello to you all.
My name is Sharon and I have a 3 yr old child with spastic diplegia
cerebal palsy. He is developmentally delayed in all areas. He
currently is walking with a walker which he has been doing for the
last 9 months. Speech is very delayed, but is coming along. Feeding
is quite the challenge. Luckily he is not affected in his hands and
arms. We have been told to expect him to be labeled "mentally
retarded" in school, which I don't like to hear, he is bright, but he
is unable to fully communicate and it just makes it hard for him to
score high on test.
I so a post about water therapy, my son had water therapy last year
and it was great, we are in the process of putting in a pool for him,
which is challenging as my husband feels he can do it himself. UGH.
