We found out when our daughter was 9 month old that she has mild C.P. I know at first it is over whemling. I don't know what state you live in but where I live PA I could apply for a medical card. She could get it because she was disabiled. It did not matter what our income was. The nurse a Children's hosp. told us to apply and thank God she did because we did not have very good health ins. After we applied and she was approved they paid all of our bills. ( Praise the Lord!!!). So that might be something for you to check out. Next check about getting your daughter therapy. My daughter had Speech, P.T. and O.T. I know it is over whelming now but it gets better. You do just take it one day at a time. My daughter is now 11. Things are alot better. She can not talk but she can walk. I school her through the
internet. I feel it is best to keep her at home she has eat trouble and other issues. She can read sight words that I printed out and when she wants something she will point to the word or bring it to me. Well I hope that was a help. Feel free to email me any time. Take care
