Great news!
I received a letter of certificate from the WA Secretary of State yesterday informing me that it's official. We are now incorporated! So the official name is Century Massage & Bodywork, Inc.
Getting more Network: I am in the middle of getting on as a preferred provider with Premera Blue Cross. This may take a few months, since they are requiring me to take more seminars and pass their exams. My target month to accomplish this is September of this year. I will keep you informed of any changes.
Receptionist changed again: Katie, our receptionist has taken on a full-time position at Ticor Title, located on the first floor here at the Evergreen Building. Katie has helped out when my first receptionist, was out sick and eventually left the company. She has helped a lot in setting up a few procedures in billing and file management. I hated to see Katie go, but taking over is Marinda. Marinda is the wife of my first employee (therapist) and good friend, Tom, who is currently in active duty stationed in Kuwait. Marinda is currently taking an accounting class at Renton Technical College and has been donating her time in helping me out with payroll. She will assist me in the receptionist duties, as well as light bookkeeping duties. WELCOME MARINDA!
