*The Thought that Counts Quote:

The Journey by David Whyte

Above the mountains
the geese turn into
the light again

Painting their
black silhouettes
on an open sky.

Sometimes everything
has to be
inscribed across
the heavens

so you can find
the one line
already written
inside you.

Sometimes it takes
a great sky
to find that

small, bright
and indescribable
wedge of freedom
in your own heart.

Sometimes with
the bones of the black
sticks left when the fire
has gone out

someone has written
something new
in the ashes of your life.

You are not leaving
you are arriving.

0) Effective Public Speaking Using Nuero-Linguistic Programming Techniques

Public Speaking is the number one fear reported by people, according to the Book
of Lists. More people fear Public Speaking than fear death!

Join us as we discuss several ways to use NLP tools and techniques to overcome
this fear and to increase self-confidence for Public Speaking and other
anxiety-producing situations.

Participants will walk away with the following benefits:

~ An understanding of your preferred learning style (V, A, K) and how it
contributes to your presentation style.

~ Practical tips to both plan and deliver your next presentation.

~ Suggestions for preparing for potential pitfalls.

~ A Power Anchor located on the body that can be accessed at any time to feel
Powerful as needed.

No prior experience in NLP is required. Those with NLP experience may choose to
think about your own ways of incorporating NLP techniques in your presentations
so that we may generate a dynamic discussion.

1)Wisdom at Work Friday, March 27th Luncheon Date: Friday, March 27, 2009

We invite you to join us for our Friday, March 27th luncheon. Our speaker will
be "Michelann Quimby on the topic of "Cultivating Positive Politics in
Organizations". Ms. Quimby is president of DiaMind Consulting. She is an
organizational development coach and consultant, specializing in helping
companies define compelling vision and values that motivate and engage
employees. Michelann is an experienced speaker and published writer on topics
relating to organizational values, ethics, and interpersonal dynamics. Most
recently, she co- published an article featured in the Winter 2009 edition of OD
Practitioner, and has an article in the most recent issue of The Systems
Thinker.

**THIS MONTH'S PRESENTATION:

What comes to mind when you consider organizational politics? Do you think of
backstabbing, gossip, and self-interest, or do you think of alliance building,
interdependence, and trust? At its core, political power is the ability to
influence behavior through understanding the forces that motivate people to act.
The possibility of this power being misused is obvious even without the
cautionary tales of corporate fraud and corruption that have plagued the news
over past decades. So how do we cultivate moral political power? In this session
we'll discuss ways to recognize the three types of political power, and how to
cultivate ethical, values-based influence at work.

The Dragon's Way
Serious weight-loss program based on traditional Chinese medicine principles

Discover what thousands already know…diets don't work,
but The Dragon's Way does!

For over 10 years The Dragon's Way has helped people gain the
skills & knowledge to change their lives.

New Classes Beginning Soon!

Based on the best-selling book "A Natural Guide to Weight Loss That Lasts" by Nan Lu, OMD, The Dragon's Way® takes a holistic approach to resolving weight gain. Learn 10 simple Qigong `energy' movements designed to awaken your body's natural healing ability. Gain amazing insights into the interconnection of the body, mind, spirit and emotions and how they affect your health and weight. And you'll participate in an "eating for healing" plan specifically designed to strengthen and increase your body's Qi. As you build your energy foundation you'll experience reduced stress levels, fewer food cravings, improved sleep, and more vitality. Unlike other diet programs, The Dragon's Way can help heal the root cause of weight gain.

About the instructor:
Meg Coons, L.Ac., is a student of Nan Lu, OMD, creator of The Dragon's Way and founder of Traditional Chinese Medicine World Foundation and The Tao of Healing Centers of NY and NJ. He is an international Taiji and Qigong master. Meg has been studying Qigong with Master Lu for 10 years. Through her practice, Meg experienced her body's ability to self-heal. Her desire to share this ancient healing wisdom with others lead her to seek Dragon's Way instructor certification. Meg, an acupuncturist and herbalist, is a graduate of the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin and is licensed by the state of Texas.

FULL CIRCLE: The Journey of a Lifetime
Past Life Regressions for Soul Groups

by Rev. Michelle A. Tarbell, LMFT

Friday, March 27
730pm - 9pm

$20.00 per person
Cash or Checks Only

Held at Resource Connection
321 W. Ben White, Ste. 203
Austin, TX 78704
Map & directions

Rev. Michelle A. Tarbell, LMFT is privileged to present the amazing experience of Past Life Regression/Timeline Healing at the Group level! Just as individuals can experience traumatic events in past lives that still very much impact their lives today, Soul Groups can also go through situations that continue to influence their subsequent lives. Utilizing Ms. Tarbell's experiences as an Interdimensional Healer, an Ordained Minister and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she will lead the group back to the original scenario to reveal the lessons that the group had attempted to learn and also to clarify what misperceptions were created that had the group get "stuck" in time.

All people who attend a Full Circle event will walk away with a tremendous healing experience. All who are present will have been guided there as part of their soul's desire to release themselves from roles that they have been playing since the original situation. Levels of participation can vary and no one is required to talk during the session. Simply an openness to heal and staying present to what is happening in the room is sufficient to receive this tremendous gift of healing. The synergy of many shifting upwards simultaneously is extremely powerful and transforming! It is time to come FULL CIRCLE!

~~ OneBigCircle becomes One Big Network!!! ~~

Hi everyone,

Well most of you now have heard of or visited OneBigCircle.org .

Well we have decided to take OBC to the next level, this we hope will benifit
everyone....

If you have your own website, group, service OR your searching somthing
poticular then we hope you will like our plan...

OBC is currently a fash growing online community of like minded lite workers...
like this group and other sites and groups accross the internet..
but we are a sharing website community and we want to help other websites and
groups to grow....
we would like to think that people who visit OBC are there to learn and share,
and IF OBC does not have what they are looking for that we can help direct them
/ recomend other websites / groups to find what it is there looking for....

OK I hear you say, whats this gotta do with me, well IF your a website owner OR
a group owner we are offering you FREE advertising / networking at OBC.....

how is that?? well we are going to be setting up banner rotators on every page
of our OBC network, also each member has there own profile page and will has the
membership status of website owner / group owner etc.... this shows all of our
members AND visitors who you are, about your website or group, AND your banners
displayed on rotatation... thus if your website / group is what the member /
visitor is looking for..... yu get the idea....

We also have forums, groups, music, video, blogs, chat, etc etc of which ALL
members who join OBC have full access to... FREE

we also have plans for our own Blogtalkradio station and newsletter, again all
site and group owners will be promoted in them, on rotation free of charge....

Im sure there is more but I cant think of them all right now......

Bottom line is, theres no catch, its all free and we are working towards
creating OneBigCircle / Network that provides links to everything you might want
to read about / join etc.........

Thanks for reading and I really hope everyone joins in on this and we can all
help eachother.....

Love and light

Crystal Bowl Meditation for Rejuvenation
Sunday, March 15 begins at around 11:45 or noon; lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour
$$Donation

Be embraced by pure vibrational sounds that take you into deep and insightful levels of mind. This sound goes through your body and your consciousness to find and release stress and negative energies… thus you enter into deep levels of relaxation and awareness. This is your doorway to limitless possibilities. Experience very deep levels of meditation, possibly insights, healings and a new level of internal peace. Allow the Healing Guided Imagery Journey to take you into your inner depths while being rejuvenated.

Lamar L. Irwin has traveled Colorado, California and Texas leading guided imaginary journeys for groups using the healing sounds and energies of the singing crystal bowls. Participants in solo healing sessions and groups report a variety of beneficial experiences including healings, insights, premonitions, deeper meditation, precognitions and compassionate understandings. While playing the quartz crystal bowls Lamar receives words and images that he uses as the spontaneous guided journey for the group. This is always especially appropriate for the people in the room. Lamar was once on stage with Steven Halpern, a pioneer in sound and healing, at a New Age fair playing the bowls in Colorado.

Dear Ones.
The Trecena of Cauac, the Rainstorm, presents a glorious opportunity to
understand energies being felt at this time.
Mark "Thunderbird" Henry and I have spoke many times of a new energy wave
coming in - seen as a Tsunami Wave of great force and strength. The energies
of the Cauac Trecena (March 11-23) reflects a time of:
"Taking the Power of the People forward into the Rainbow Tribe. We are all
one in the eyes of the Universe."
So what does that mean? Cauac (pronounced cow awk) energy represents
"Activating for Ascension" and in attunement with "Purifying the Body
Temple." This means these thirteen days are preparing us for another
frequency shift - a dramatic one. Balancing Cauac energies brings a release
from materialism and the fear of losing everything; transformation as we
release the "trauma drama" of daily storms in our life. We realize this wave
of new energies as cleansing. Washing over us, it leaves a beautifully
clean surface for us to rewrite and recreate our energetic and physical Body
Temple. These thirteen days are a wondrous time to experience a cleansing on
many levels.
This time reminds me of my childhood South. Growing up close to the Gulf of
Mexico, we spent summer days at the beach. And every so often, a wave would
catch me unaware, crashing over me, tossing me around in the surf.
Sputtering for air, I would look around blinking rapidly to see where I had
landed and reorient myself. It took a few moments to do so, but I would
quickly catch my breath, regain my balance and my vision would clear. Wow,
what an exhilarating ride!!! And then there were the times I knew the wave
was coming and I would jump in with glee at the opportunity to "ride the
wave."
Such is this tsunami of energy coming our way. Releasing the fear of what is
to happen, knowing the Universe stands as a Life Guard to throw us a life
line when we look for it, allows you to enjoy this exhilarating time! Our
energetic bodies will rebalance and then be reflected in our physical self.
After these days Eb "the Road" sets in motion the healing process after the
storm. March 24th to April 5th signals a time for:
"Healing energies to flow strongly through the Universal Oneness. We begin
to understand that Release of our fears creates Abundance for all."
As many of you know, these Trecena cycles are but one layer of the Maya
Calendars. The larger "Heaven" cycles take place every 360 days. We are
currently in a time of new light (knowledge) which then moves into a period
of introspection (wisdom). Be aware the intensity with which you feel these
movements is increasing as the filters disappear - we move closer to
complete Oneness and Enlightenment. Exciting times indeed!!!!
Because of these dramatic shifts, I have been guided to share the wisdom in
as many venues as possible. I am travelling extensively this year in an
effort to "Spread the Word." Below is a listing of current events and
locations. These are increasing each day. My website has additional
details.
My gratitude for sharing this with those you feel may have an interest in
understanding these changing times.
Love and Abundance, my brothers and sisters, as we realize the true depth to
the greeting
"In Lak'ech" (I am another you).

Negative Pressure Cupping Massage for Facial Drainage and Lifting

This technique is also useful for aestheticians and the general public. You need
not be a therapist to use this process.

This class will teach the basics for eliminating buildup of wastes and fluids in
the face and neck, stimulating circulation and lymphatic flow to give a more
youthful appearance and a "lifted" look.

Class will include an introduction to lymphatics of the head and face,
discussion of skin and common problems of facial skin, introduction to the
equipment, safety and contraindications and practice with the techniques.

Equipment supplied for the class and available for purchase.

This is a great technique to add to a practice or to practice on yourself and
family.

Rev.

**The Thought that Counts Quote:

**For Presence - John O'Donohue

Awaken to the mystery of being here
and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.

Have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.

Receive encouragement when new frontiers beckon.

Respond to the call of your gift and the courage to
follow its path.

Let the flame of anger free you of all falsity.

May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame.

May anxiety never linger about you.

May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of
soul.

Take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek
no attention.

Be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul.

May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven
around the heart of wonder.

What's Fundamental about Fundamentalism?

Wynette Barton, PhD.
WHEN: Friday, March 6, 7:30-9:30 PM
WHERE: First Unitarian Church, 4700 Grover Ave, 78756 (452-6168), Room 15
COST: $12 members; $15 non-members
**CEU's (2) available upon request**

The word "fundamental," whether applied to religion, politics or education,
supposedly refers to a concept's foundation, to something basic and
indisputable. But wait a minute! Who decides what is basic and indisputable?
Powerful, lasting concepts often have sides that are hard to pin down neatly and
difficult to speak concisely. This evening we will discuss how condensed
versions (though comfortable in their simplicity) can be bamboozling
distractions from the "truths of the gods" contained in the abstract ideals of
some of our collective beliefs.

Wynette Barton, PhD is a Jungian Analyst practicing in Austin. Her longtime
interest in social and political phenomena often leads her into explorations of
the machinations of collective activity. She has a Masters degree in Psychology,
a doctorate in Theology, and is a Diplomate of the C.G. Jung Institute of
Zurich. She lives in Kyle with her husband Bob, a few too many goats, a dog, a
donkey and a number of uninvited coyotes!
The Burden of Religion
Josh Bertetta, PhD.

WHEN: Friday, April 3, 7:30-9:30 PM
WHERE: First Unitarian Church, 4700 Grover Ave, 78756 (452-6168), Room 15

COST: $12 members; $15 non-members

Depth Psychology has long wrestled with the issue of religion. Jung referred to
Christianity as the "great burden" we must all bear. In this lecture, Dr.
Bertetta will present how Carl Jung, James Hillman and Wolfgang Giergerich have
grappled with the "burden" of religion. In this discussion, we will come to
understand how each theorist defines religion and its relationship to
psychology.

Joshua Bertetta, PhD. is a Visiting Professor of Religious Studies at St.
Edward's University and is a graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute.

The Transformative Power of Magical Space
Priscilla Murr, PhD., LPC
WHEN: Friday, May 15, 7:30-9:30PM
WHERE: First Unitarian Church, 4700 Grovver Ave, Room 15
Cost: $12 members; $15 non-members
**CEU's (2) available upon request**

A small cave on the Pedernales River is the location of thousand year-old
paintings. This space was most certainly sacred to the artist and the community
she/he created it for. The cave with the paintings provided a place apart from
the daily life where psychic transformations, initiations and contact with the
transcendent could occur. Priscilla took a group from the Jung Society to visit
the cave several years ago. As a result, the Jung Society financed the carbon
dating of the site, proving the site to be older than 750 years. Not only is the
site interesting because there is so little rock art in Central Texas, but also
because the Jung Society has been so involved with the recent archaeology of the
site.

Priscilla Murr, PhD., LPC has been in private practice in Austin for nearly 25
years. She came to Austin from Zurich where she studied at the Jung Institute,
the University of Zurich and analyzed with one of Jung's closest students. A
graduate from the Jung Institute with a degree in the ethnology of religion, Dr.
Murr is a long time student of rock art: seeing in it a clear expression of
humanity's experience with the unconscious and the transcendental world.

The Individuation Process
Karen Vandiver, LPC, LMFT
WHEN: Saturdays, March 21, 28, April 4 and 11 (4 sessions), 2:00-3:30 PM
WHERE: Directions to class location given when you enroll by calling
254-541-6165
Cost: $48 members; $54 non-members
**CEU's (6) available upon request**

In the class we will explore the different stages of the individuation process
along with how it is affected by psychological types, the conscious awareness of
the individual and the relationship to the unconscious. We will also discuss the
therapeutic relationship in terms of healing in the life of the individual.
Because Jung used Psychological Types as a blueprint for wholeness, this will be
discussed in depth and referenced throughout using excerpts from the book by
Marie-Louise Von Franz on Jung's Typology along with her book
Psychotherapy. The goal is for each participant to come away with a
strong sense of the therapeutic relationship and how that translates into real
life. All materials, including reading materials, will be provided at each class
for all participants.

Karen Vandiver, LPC, LMFT is a psychotherapist in private practice in Austin,
Texas. She is a two-time past president and board member of the Jung Society of
Austin and has been a class presenter for 15 years. She has lectured abroad as
well as locally on the Fundamentals of Jungian Psychology.

Messages from the Other Side: A Workshop on Dreams
Priscilla Murr, PhD., LPC
WHEN: Tuesdays, April 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19 (skip May 26) and June 2,
7:30-9:30PM
WHERE: Directions to class location given when you enroll by calling
512-482-0074. Limit: 6 people
Cost: $58 members; $72 non-members
**CEU's (12) available upon request**

I like to think of a dream as a thread plucked up by the needle of consciousness
out of the fabric of our lives. Each dream reflects all the depth and complexity
of our existence. Jung said that each dream is the best statement for the
information which the unconscious is trying to communicate to the conscious
mind. But, we all want to interpret them, to get closer to the loving heart of
the Self. This workshop will be an opportunity for you to explore your dreams
and the dreams of each other in a safe, protected space.

Priscilla Murr, PhD., LPC, is a Jungian Analyst who trained at the Jung
Institute in Zurich. She has worked on her dreams since 1968, worked on them in
analysis and on her own, and has worked with other people's dreams since 1980.
She has a great deal of respect for the unconscious and knows how a dream can
change a life.

Austin Breathwork

Austin Breathwork's goal is to build a community of like-minded human
beings who want to actively explore healing through a variety of
breathing practices in a safe, nurturing environment. We are spiritual
beings who want to experience and express our human selves.

These meetings are active - you participate with your body, mind, and
soul. Your body is encouraged to move, your mind to question, your
soul to connect.

Generative Breathwork
Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 9:00AM to 1:00PM

Generative Breathwork is based largely on the Holotropic Breathwork
model of Stanislav and Christina Grof and the Integrative Breathwork
model of Jacquie Small. In Generative Breathwork, our goal is to
resolve old psycho-spiritual wounds and suffering, connect deeply with
the Self and others, and create new possibilities and new life.

Generative Breathwork is a highly experiential and comprehensive
therapeutic form of exploration, discovery, and resolution which often
leads to profound, life-changing transformation. By moving safely into
non-ordinary states of consciousness through deep, connected breathing
and supported by strong, evocative music, one can awaken innate
wisdom, activate inner healing, and connect deeply to spirit.
Breathwork is a modern day approach to ancient and universal healing
practices.

Each session is unique, guided by the "inner radar" of your own
psyche, bringing to consciousness that which is most urgent to
examine, process, and release. Your experience may lead you into a
simple life review, perinatal...

Check out what members are saying about Austin Breathwork:

"The energy work that Ed provides in this meetup will bring changes
that you could never imagine were possible. The magic of it is, you
find what you were looking for but didn't know you lost... parts and
pieces of your soul. That is the bottom line, in my opinion. If you
are wanting to re-integrate (To make into a whole by bringing all
parts together; unify)...This work will do it!" - JK

"I cannot say what others should do, but I can say that I think any
seeker of deeper understanding of self will greatly benefit from
joining this Meetup Group." - LA

"Ed is offering some very unique workshops, and I'm trying to work my
way through them all. Each one I have attended has added to my
strength and well-being. If you haven't tried any of these; do
yourself a favor and do it." - TA

"Ed is very generous with his time, expertise, and with sharing the
great amount of information he's developed on breathwork." - KR

"A true realignment / tuneup that will keep you smiling and feeling
good." - WA

*The Thought that Counts Quotes:

"Love cannot remain by itself,
   it has no meaning.
Love has to be put into action,
  and that action is service."
*quote by Mother Teresa of Calcutta
***********

WE ARE FIELDS BEFORE EACH OTHER

How is it they live for eons in such harmony -
the billions of stars -

when most men can barely go a minute
without declaring war in their mind against someone they know.

There are wars where no one marches with a flag,
though that does not keep casualties
from mounting.

Our hearts irrigate this earth.
We are fields before
each other.

How can we live in harmony?
First we need to
know

we are all madly in love
with the same
God.

    * quote by St. Thomas Aquinas ~(from Love Poems From God: Twelve
Sacred Voices from the East and West by Daniel Ladinsky)

Ortho-Bionomy® Mini Class - Elbows, Wrists and Hands - has been changed to March 10th

Advanced Practitioner and Associate Instructor, Tracy Gilliam will present a three hour mini class using Ortho-Bionomy® techniques, with a focus on elbows, wrists and hands.

This gentle technique helps re-set the body's nervous system, allowing chronic or acute pain to release. Movements are kept within you and your clients comfort range, allowing maximum change with minimum strain. Intrinsic movements and trigger points will be addressed in the elbow, wrists and hand. Helpful for arthritic conditions, overworked hands and Dupuytren's contracture. This is a hands-on class, with time for questions and practice. Come learn something to add to your practice!

Mini courses will count toward study group requirements for SOBI as well as Texas DSHS continuing education requirements.

Cost is $45.00 per person. Class time is 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held in Georgetown.

Contact Tracy to register at 512-869-0509 or e-mail prior to March 9th at tg-rmt@....
