Background on Michael Regan
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Michael Regan was educated at
Boston College and Duke University.  In the 1980s, he worked to
promote a non-partisan dialogue on recovery and development in
Central America, and later managed an environmental consulting group.

A new healing sanctuary has been created called the Lotus Healing
Sanctuary. An enchanting home built in 1858, Surrounded by woods and
located in a sweet neighborhood (just east of IH35 and Riverside on
country road Riverside Farms), the Lotus Healing Sanctuary is a place
for people to learn/teach classes of a healing nature, to create art
and ritual together, to receive or give massage and other healing
modalities, and to experience joy to its highest level.
The Lotus also has space for another occupant either practicing their
work or living and contributing to the healing space.

Phase 5 allows the student to find a way to work with a more subtle level of awareness with themselves and their clients.  Proprioceptive sensitivity to the clients movements using observation and following techniques are practiced. The student is encouraged to let the client be the guide on this exploration of change.  Finding the position of comfort the body needs and then following it to the conclusion of release is the basis for this class.  You will learn how to become much more sensitive and aware of the body's subtle signs.  Phase 5 can be incorporated into your regular massage sessions or used as a stand alone Ortho-Bionomy® technique.  Many options for great results in your sessions!  Randall is hands on instructor, with lots of time for questions and practice.  His love for this work is apparent in his teaching. 

If you miss the early bird deadline, the cost will be $300 paid between March 31 & April 6 and $325 from April 7 to class date.

Relaxing into True Nature

This is a two part workshop.  Part I [April 14] will focus on
relaxing the body and Part II [June 17] will focus on relaxing the
mind/spirit.

Tension is the absence of presence. Deep relaxation comes as we
cultivate awareness of the physical body in our daily lives; as we
learn to listen to the body and engage it in an on-going dialogue.
As the dialogue deepens we come to know our true nature, and we see
that the worried, anxious one is an aspect of who we are who is
asking us to awaken to our glorious authentic self – the one who is
always relaxed and at ease in the world.

During the workshop we'll work with three foundations of deep
relaxation – awareness, breath, and movement.  Join us for a day of
profound relaxation. Leave with concrete tools to help you continue
to be peaceful and relaxed in the midst of stress.

walk with a question on the breath. Try this one. What needs

How can I be more present to the world? Connecting with the earth is
connecting with our basic aliveness.  On both days we will explore a
small section of the Barton Creek greenbelt. Using the tools of
observation, stillness and silence, we will slow down and deepen our
capacity to experience the natural world through the senses. This
workshop will include periods of walking meditation, quiet
contemplation and journaling/writing small insight poems. No
experience necessary.

Full Moon Walking Meditation

Wednesday, May 2. 7:30-9:00 pm. Barton Creek Greenbelt.  FREE.
We will do a walking meditation, touching the earth with our
presence, offering prayers of healing with our footsteps, listening
to the language of the night, sensing the presence of the world in
darkness.

Meet at the picnic table at the Gus Fruh entrance to the Barton Creek

I am looking for a cool space to host a Medical Qigong workshop for a
visiting teacher from Jerry Johnson's school in CA.

The dates/ times are:
May 17-20, Thursday through Sunday
9-6:30 each day

There will probably be up to 15 participants and we will need to have
space to lay down and to move around (at least arm's length plus a
bit). Other amenities such as mats, nature surroundings and nice
energetics are major bonuses, but not required.

"Just a note on attending Stella's funeral===  - Stella's Big Church
was filled with people joyous of her life, laughing, crying, and a
bunch of us wearing RED for that FINE Canadian-American.  There was
no parking left, so some of us had to park on the grass.  Pass the
Word - in June we'll still have a Birthday Party for Stella at the
Carousel.  Wear your coconut bras, grass skirts and red/white & blue
attire!
Stella's probably already dancing with Elvis!
Stella Hope Boes from Niagra Falls, Ontario, who was born June 10,
1926 died this Monday, March 5th.  I went to her viewing last night,
and the funeral is today.  Wear your Red in honor of her!  She asked
that everyone wear Red and their dancing shoes for her funeral!  She
was a red white and blue maple leaf kinda gal.  You can go check out
www.kxan.com news station for Jim Swift's video on her.  You can also
go to www.mem.com and add some words in about the C.I.A. (Canadian in
America).
If for some reason you don't know who Stella Boes was (a wonderful
red headed gal), she was in National Geographic, the Soutwest
Airlines Spirit Magazine, and was the Hostess with the Mostest at the
Carousel Lounge for many years.  Always dancing, always smiling,
always laughing, always caring about others.
In loving memory of my good friend Stella ~ I was asked by her
daughter to carry the torch for her, and keep on keeping on!  I'll
walk for Stella in the March of Dimes this year!
