Valentine's Special, Private Relationship Readings
with Lindsey Scott-Ipsen:
Detailed, accurate and compassionate readings with
Lindsey Ipsen, Director of the Center for Intuitive
Studies – in person or over the phone. Special

relationship issues, past lives/karma and

My new choice as Phoenix is to release all attachment to finances and completely trust that what I receive will be more than sufficient to help me to get a car, and whatever else I need to do whatever I am supposed to do next. Just thought I should pass on my knowledge to all you guys (and gals) on here. I
know just like heaps of other men I am     pretty shy when it comes to going up
to someone. I've tried a few different places (clubs, bars, etc) but never seem

one of the 12 "most effective preachers" in the English-speaking
world.  On June 1, 1989, The Rev. Dr. James Alexander Forbes, Jr.
was installed as the fifth Senior Minister of The Riverside Church,
an interdenominational, interracial, and international church built
by John D. Rockefeller Jr. in 1927.  The 2,400-member church is
affiliated with the American Baptist Churches and the United Church
of Christ.  Rev. Dr. Forbes is the first African-American to serve
as Senior Minister of one of the largest multicultural congregations
in the nation.  He is an ordained minister in American Baptist
Churches and the Original United Holy Church of America.

Services, St. Edward's University

Dr. Pannabecker will be explaining a major campus suicide
education/prevention program and plans of reaching into the
community!

The Austin Travis County Suicide Prevention Coalition needs the
support of time and commitment of ALL aspects of our community to
successfully implement the Austin Travis County Suicide Prevention
Plan which was submitted to Mayor Will Wynn last August.  Attached
is a copy of the plan which has goals and objectives.   The next
step is to develop the actual strategies that will incorporate
businesses, organizations, groups and individuals which are
available resources in our community!  It is our hope that all of
these are represented in the coalition!

ALL ARE WELCOME!

St. David's will be serving lunch on this day and you are invited to
have lunch in their Cafe Divine.  I don't yet know what the menu
will be, but it's always an entree, vegetable, starch, salad,

MLK Day of Service 2006: Remember, Celebrate, Act

In the first Religious Studies lecture of the spring semester,
Timothy Matovina, Associate Professor of Theology at Notre Dame
University, will speak on "Guadalupe: A History of Interpretation
and Devotion."


Dr. Matovina is the Director of the Cushwa Center for the Study of
American Catholicism at Notre Dame.  His work focuses on the
practice of Catholicism in America, especially the role of religion
in the Latino community.  His books include Tejano Religion and
Ethnicity (1995), The Alamo Remembered (1995), Beyond Borders
(2000), Presente! U.S. Latino Catholics from Colonial Origins to the
Present (2000), Horizons of the Sacred: Mexican Traditions in U.S.
Catholicism (2002).  His most recent book, Guadalupe and Her
Faithful (2005), explores how the worship of the Virgin provided
stability for one community in San Antonio over several centuries
and through political and social turmoil.

12) Census Jobs

In case you are looking for short-term employment...Jody

Austin has been selected as a Test Census Site for the year 2006. It
is one of only 2 places in the country in which the Census will be
occurring; us and the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota.

The Census Bureau will be testing new ways to make the next census
easier, more accurate, and less costly. One of the key elements in
the
test program is the use of a hand-held computer. We will be using
Dell
PDA's with special census software. The test is how well do the Dells
work. How easy is the software to use? Can the Census Bureau find
enough quality candidates that can do both the task of completing the
Census data collection and can they master the technology?

Historically, Census Day is always April 1st. The US Postal Service
will deliver questionnaires to addresses during the third week of
March. We ask that everyone complete the questionnaire and return it
by mail to the Census Office. Census workers will visit households to
collect information when the Census Bureau does not receive a
completed questionnaire for each household.

For those households that do not complete the questionnaire, the
Census Bureau will be hiring nearly three thousand employees to
complete the task. The positions that are available are really pretty
easy jobs that pay well. The pay for most jobs is $14.50/hour. Once
someone has completed training, the job is completely flexible. You
establish your own work schedule. We are looking for people who
commit
to working at least 20 hours and up to 40 hours a week. These are
temporary jobs lasting approximately 5 to 10 weeks.

Applicants are required to qualify for these positions. Part of the
qualification process includes taking a skills test. The employment
test consists of 28 multiple-choice questions designed to measure a
variety of skills and abilities such as reading, math, map reading,
following directions, organization skills, etc.

The testing is starting now. Call the Local Census Office at
1-888-814-6711 to schedule an appointment to take the test and apply
for a job.

Projective Dreamwork with Shea Broussard, M.A.

The class will meet on two Saturdays, Feb. 11 and 18, 10am - 4 pm each day.

Dreams are a universal human experience. Across all cultures and time, people
have been
influenced by their dreams individually and collectively.

There is now a unique opportunity to work with your dreams. Uncover the hidden
messages dreams have to offer our waking experience. Not only does dream work
open
creative solutions to our waking life problems and dilemmas, dreams propose a
symbolic
roadmap of our own personal growth.

Even nightmares come to serve health and wholeness. They forcefully come to aid
this
awareness by bringing the simple message, "Wake up!" There is a survival issue
being
brought to the dreamer's attention by the authentic self. The beautiful thing is
that we
have the capacity to interactively use dreams, even nightmares, to promote
emotional and
spiritual growth.

Resource Connection is now offering a two day intensive workshop on an
Introduction to
Projective Dreamwork, facilitated by Shea D. Broussard, M.A. Projective
Dreamwork is a
process of unfolding the multiple potentials our subconscious mind has to offer.
Not only
does this work provide accessible tools for developing the practice of self
awareness,
effective listening, and exercising compassionate communication, this workshop
offers a
fun interactive venue for sharing and discussing amongst other our common
creative
minds. Additional areas of discussion include:

• the physical nature of dreaming
• nightmares
• reoccurring dreams
• how to improve dream recall
• setting intentions

Shea D. Broussard received her M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology and a
Certification in
Dream Studies at John F. Kennedy University.  She has mentored under Rev. Jeremy
Taylor,
renowned dreamworker and social activist for 30 years and also the originator of
Projective Dreamwork.  She has facilitated various dream groups in San Francisco
area
including the prestigious Graduate Theological Union Starr King School of
Berkeley and
Matthew Fox's University of Creation Spirituality.  She is now available for the
first time in
the Austin area for personal consultations, group dream work, and workshops
