This Month's Tip: When a US dietary or nutritional supplement manufacturer or
food manufacturer lists 'starch' on its ingredient list, the source can only be
cornstarch. This is not necessarily true for drugs, however. In the case of
drugs, the ingedient 'starch' has to be checked. Modified starch and Modified
food starch must always be checked for gluten.
