Well, had my endoscopy today. Dr. said it definately looks like
Celiac Disease in there. I won't know what the actual results say
for like 10 days! In the meantime, I'm getting ready to leave for
Myrtle Beach SC and have no idea what I'm going to eat? Raw veggies
and grilled chicken? Can I still have my Diet Coke? since I saw that
Carmel coloring has gluten.... I have soooo many questions. I want
to start doing the "right" thing but gosh, where to start.... For
sure, I'm cutting out the wheat breads and pastas. That's a given.
But what next? How have you all gradually changed over your diets?
How long will it take before I can feel normal when I eat (and
especially AFTER I eat).... no cramping, stomachache,
lightheadedness, diarrhea, etc.? I'm off to Barnes and Noble
tomorrow to search for some books to read on the beach. Any
recommendations?
