Lynne -
I've been on this list for a few years now and I know how hard you've tried
to get your and your family's health in line. In the case you've described,
I have no experience and no advice, except to find very good doctors. I can
only imagine how frustrating this must be for you.
I will keep you in my thoughts and hope that there is someone who can help
you feel better.
Best regards,
Valerie

Subject: [Celiac Sprue Disease] question about having gallbladder removed &
a sensitive question too please...
Ive been on a strict gluten free diet with my kids for almost 4 yrs
now. Not a trace of wheat, oats, rye, barley, spelt, triticale. We need
to stay on this forever due to the Celiac. Ive also been dairy &
soy free and fish free. I went ana. to fish. My mouth/throat go numb
with melons and I broke out in hives from green peas. I eat about 95%
raw veggies/fruit,more veg than fruit. The only fat I got was from
turkey burger or raw nuts&seeds. That was my protein source and now
its gone. I am very weak. I cant eat chicken or beef at all, they've
killed my stomach for years. I think I do eat pretty healthy. I make
flours from rice, beans and tapioca and make breadsticks or muffins
but since we're really low on food thats been out of our diet for a
month too. I really hope this surgeon can help.Im meeting with him
on Mon.to set a date for the gallbladder removal, theres too many
stones. No dr.can tell me
whats going on or suggest anything. They just feel bad.
Ok, this may
be gross for some of you,so if you want..skip this part. Drs ask if
theres any stool change. For me,this has been normal for about 6 yrs
now, stools are yellow, but when I go without eating for a certain
time, its like my insides are just pouring out. It turns bright
yellow and liquidy. Any idea what that means? Sometimes, I dont even
know its happening. So, I dont go anywhere when its like that. There
has to be something left when theres no food in there to pour out
like that. Does that make any sense? Any thoughts anyone? Send them
my way please. Again, I apologize if I upset anyones stomach! I
tried to be polite. Thank you all. Lynne
