anyone else send their kids to camp and premake all their meals?! I   Message List

the 2 oldests went this year again and in a few weeks the 9&7
yr.olds will go. Both times are a girl and boy and they dont eat
together or see each other. They homeschool so the only time they
are away from each other is at church and church camp. They had a
great time last year and this year we not only got a discount,but
our church gave us the money so we could get the food. It cost close
to $200 to feed the 2 for a week and the containers. I make own
flours and try to match up to what the others are eating. The staff
puts it on same plates so it looks alike and they dont feel
different. I did label everything and precook it all then froze it
to ensure freshness. I made choc.chip
pancakes,pizzas,muffins,cookies,cake,side dishes,main meals and all.
They dont usually eat that many goodies,but for something like
this,I didnt want them left out. They dont get huge amounts and they
eat to live instead of live to eat. They get kinda grossed out when
they see how much junk other kids pack away and they get 4 ch.chip
cookies each. And of course theyre even healthy cookies since made
with bean,tapioca,brown rice and jasmine flours. No eggs or dairy
either except for ch.chips. We use homemade rice milk. It went
pretty well, Im pretty organized and had fun doing it. The other
kids were excited to help cook and think of what they wanted when
