The problem with most flavorings is that they are
grain distilled. The alcohol is the problem. You are
wise to avoid them. Possibly some special flavorings
are avialable for home cooking. I never have had a
problem with regular coke, but I am finding out that
shampoos and lotions and the like have gluten as well,
so until I figure that one out, I will have a hard
time tracing any foods down.

Hello! I called the Coca-Cola company a few months ago, and they assured me that even Vanilla coke was gluten free. Products do change all the time, so here...
