The group is a closed group, primarily for Consultants in Communicable Disease Control, and others who have a similar interest in communicable disease control in the UK. It also welcomes professionals with a similar role in other countries who wish to learn from our experience, and/or to share their experience with us. Members must be willing to state clearly who they are.

In theory, only group members can read the messages sent to the group; but confidential information should NOT be posted unencrypted via the internet, and especially not to large groups of people.

If you wish to subscribe, please send an email to ccdc-uk-owner@yahoogroups.com, or click on the "join this group" button. Either way, PLEASE STATE WHO YOU ARE - your role, and/or interest in communicable disease control. (This is necessary to prevent inappropriate messages such as unsolicited commercial email from being sent to the group.) Failing to do this will mean your application will be rejected.

Group members are asked to register with Yahoo!, and to make a record (in a safe place) of their Yahoo! ID and pass-word.
