Hey, Larry. When you say "open" the clarifier, what exactly are you wanting to accomplish? The clarifier on the Saturn is just a potentiometer. I know it has...

... know ... ya one end of the clarifier pot is at 8 volts and if you tie it to 12 volts the rahge of the clarifer will be extended and the same for the other...
