Please keep in mind that when you shoot skip, even using legal equipment, you
place other CB users' lives at risk. That includes truckers who have enough
problems right now without our adding to them.
Strong skip conditions will cause your signal to 'splatter' across numerous
channels, including Emergency Channel 9. Linears compound that danger. Splatter
from skip signals wipes out messages on Emergency Channel 9. That renders the
safety efforts of REACT and police monitors useless. The result can be lives
lost. Those lives can be friends or loved ones. Think about it. Thanks.
