I wonder how many others are interested in doing the contest too.

Basic Premise for you newcomers................

24 Hour Contest

*2006 may have just one joint AM/SSB Contest WITHIN THE LEGAL 40 CHANNNELS!.

All you have to do is contact as many people as you can in 24 hours. The
winner (person with the most contacts) gets a nice certificate and another
special surprise. There is no contest for distance or power, just how many you
can talk to in a 24 hour period. 2 PM EST to 2 PM EST Saturday-Sunday.

Now, in order to get the maximum amount of people, I will need some
suggested dates that will work. After looking at the requests, I will set a
date (by
Thanksgiving).

Our numbers have really been down in the last few years and I want to really
bump them up if the contest is going to continue in future years or even in
06. We have 4 so far signed up and we need at least 8 to 10 at a minimum for
it to fly.

Also, we may have a third name change for the contest
First few years was "International CB QSL Contest"
Last few years was "World CB Radio Championships" (However, since no one in
Canada or UK competed, I am about to change the name (give suggestions too
folks)...........
