Calling all CBers and Emergency Team Members who are members.

The CB Radio yahoogroup is asking that all CBers begin to monitor and 39 LSB
starting at 0000 (8 PM EST) due to Cindy and in preparation for Hurricane
Dennis. I also am requesting that someone on the list (preferably someone with
good communications with the south Gulf Coast) serve as net control. That
individual will be given the Unit Number YG1000 (something new we are doing
this year). If you wish to serve as a net control or as a monitoring station,
please notify this list ASAP and what times you will be on the channel.

We will serve as a tool this year again for information-Health-Welfare
traffic to and from Emergency areas.

In the near future, I will be compiling a list of names(and assigning
numbers) of dedicated cb yahoogroup members who wish to serve as monitors of 39
LSB
during Emergencies such as Hurricanes or National Emergencies. If you want
to help, please let us know.
