Description

This is a discussion group for patients who have had a stroke as a result of carotid dissection.
Having a stroke is frightening enough, but to be a young person suddenly facing a problem that is commonly associated with senior citizens is scary, baffling and hard to relate to.
This group is a place to share your experience and find emotional support from fellow stroke from carotid dissection survivors.
I hope that this can be a place to alleviate some fears and find someone who can relate to your experience.

Tramadol or Ultram
Does anyone have experience with the pain medication, Tramadol (brand name, Ultram)? I'm trying to come off of it (for headaches), and OMG, it is HARD.
