Subject: KUB: Mendocino: Greens and Libertarians Seek Coalition to Uphold Measure G
CC: richard@..., Kristen Peskuski <usernameorama@...>,

Friends,
Richard Johnson, the head of the Green Party in Mendocino and Kristen
Peskuski, the new head of the Libertarian Party in the county will be
joining forces to help implement Measure G and support candidates who
will implement G as well.
I will also be involved and look forward to working with my fellow
Greens and Libertarians for creating real and lasting changes here in
Mendocino County.
Enclosed below is Richard Johnson's announcement.
Let freedom grow,
Steve Kubby
=============================================
Dear Fellow Greens,
The regular meeting of the County Council of the Green Party of
Mendocino will be held this month at the Mendocino Environmental
Center, 106 West Standley Street starting at 6pm next Thursday, May 3.
The meeting will be attended by Steve Kubby, National Director of
the American Medical Marijuana Association (AMMA) and precandidate
of the Libertarian Party for US president who recently moved to the
Mendocino Coast.
Main agenda item will be to explore various opportunities for local
electoral action, including the election of new supervisors in
districts 1, 2, and 4 in 2008, as well as Ukiah City Council. We will
also discuss strategies for promoting implementation of Measure G in
the county.
We encourage your participation at this moment when it appears badly
needed new energy has arrived in our county, and marijuana advocates
seem poised to make real changes on the local political landscape for
peace, freedom, and the environment. Nothing could be more fitting
than a coalition with Greens and Libertarians working on just that.
The next scheduled General Meeting of the GPOM is set for Saturday,
June 9, 2pm at the Anderson Valley firehouse in Boonville. Thank you.

SOLAR POWER IS CHEAP NOW, when health costs of fossil fuel pollution are accounted for.
