Journey for Justice-7 cross-country bicycle ride is stuck north of Topeka Kansas-needs help now please.
The crew left Folly Beach South Carolina on April 7th.  They are now in Kansas.
If you would, please help them finish the journey and send this to your 'list' of contacts.

Friends & Comrades,

This years Journey for Justice is now stuck and broke about 15 miles north of Topeka Kansas, and needs help now!   (www.j4j.info)

They've gotten 1/2 of the way to their goal, but have ran into unforseen problems.

Their Pay-Pal was shut down by someone who had the access, and is not the activist he claims to be.  We are in communication with paypal at this time.

The journeyers are at the Shawnee State Forest Lake campgrounds and have used all of their money for the campground fees tonight, Friday May 12th.

I can't think of anything else to do from here in Oregon tonight but put the word out to as many people as possible.  We're hoping many of you who recieve this message are or know people/groups along the route [http://www.angelfire.com/planet/bikeride/route.html], and everyone can help by forwarding this message to assist and/or post on their local/national MJ sites

Ken Locke, lead bicycle rider and team leader can reached at 828 506 8659 or kenlocke1@...;

My email addresses is  jimgreigads@...  and  Key Lee, journey webmistress/coach can be reached at kaylee1@....  We request that whoever you contact, you will cc all of us so we can see what is accomplished and what still needs to be done for them to get to their final destination, Seattle Hempfest.

Thanks in advance,
Jim Greig

PS: If you can provide the journeyers food, shelter or gas for the vehicles, they can continue without much else. To finish the entire Journey is only about five more weeks riding time, but the gas prices are going up rapidly. Please spread the word that they need help. Kay Lee

Newsweek, Nov. 14, 2005, page 36:
"The most recent evidence comes from autopsies of 44 prisoners who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan in U.S. custody. Most died under circumstances that suggest torture. The reports use words like 'strangulation,' 'asphyxiation' and 'blunt force injuries.' ...  A few months before the [Abu Ghraib] scandal broke [spring 2004], Coalition Provisional Authority polls showed Iraqi support at 63 percent. A month after Abu Ghraib, the number was 9 percent. Polls showed that 71 percent of Iraqis were surprised by the revelations."
