April 25, 2006
Please Distribute Widely
Spreading the Word of the Zapatista Other Campaign to Mexico and the
World:
A Letter from Mercedes Osuna in Chiapas
To our readers of the "Other Campaign" led by Delegate Zero:
The Other Journalism with the Other Campaign, worked by volunteers
from different parts of Mexico and the world, reports the news along
the path of the Other Campaign throughout the Mexican Republic with
articles, chronicles, video newsreels and other audiovisual
materials, whose translation to different languages - Spanish,
English, Italian, French, German and Portuguese - is of great use to
the cause.
The reports and other materials are available gratis on the page:
http://www.narconews.com/otroperiodismo/
This is a call for anyone who is able to help us in the translation
of this valuable material to the different languages.
Thanking you in advance for your attention to this letter, I also
send you cordial greetings.
Sincerely,
Mercedes Osuna
General Coordinator, The Other Journalism with the Other Campaign
San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, México

Newsweek, Nov. 14, 2005, page 36:
"The most recent evidence comes from autopsies of 44 prisoners who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan in U.S. custody. Most died under circumstances that suggest torture. The reports use words like 'strangulation,' 'asphyxiation' and 'blunt force injuries.' ... A few months before the [Abu Ghraib] scandal broke [spring 2004], Coalition Provisional Authority polls showed Iraqi support at 63 percent. A month after Abu Ghraib, the number was 9 percent. Polls showed that 71 percent of Iraqis were surprised by the revelations."
