Candlelighters Dayton is a support group for oncology patients and/or parents of oncology patients being treated at Children's Medical Center Dayton. If you or your child are newly diagnosed, please feel free to post a message to the group. The "links page" offers links to web pages that contain information about clinical trials, drug databases, and general information about pediatric cancer. The links page can be modified by all group members. If there is a site that you feel would be helpful, don't hesitate to add it. There is also a folder entitled "links to the kids". In this folder you are able to post your/or your child's Caringbridge page or other site that you use to keep people updated. There is an open "photos" page where you are free to upload pictures. As the group develops we can utilize the calendar function to keep people updated about meetings and events. This is a private group that is not listed in the Yahoo directory. It is a restricted, member only group. Messages, links and photos are protected and are only able to be viewed by other Candlelighters Dayton members that have subscribed to the service. I sincerely hope that everyone finds this group to be useful!
