How can you go on a carb-free diet with no meats and dairy? All
vegetables have some carbs. And you can't just eat vegetables. If
you're going to eat no meat including chicken or fish, then I don't
see how you can eat carb-free. I think Jim needs a good doctor and
this advice while well-meaning is rather vague and extreme. He should
be tested for Leaky Gut Syndrome and get a comprehensive diagnostic
stool exam and be tested for parasites too, and adjust his diet
according to what is found. Cutting out sugar and flour and sweet
fruit is a good idea, and taking fish oils, selenium, and whey
protein. But there is much to do beyond starving yourself.

I am a female with autism the aspergers kind.I live in a group home. I have been
treated unfairly about some female medical issues I had by the group home. The
Way I feel I have been treated unfairly about some female medical issues I had
by the group homer is:
On March 27, 2009 when I went to Urgent Care I found out I through a Urine
specimen the Urgent Care took that I had a both a yeast infection and bacterial
infection
I tried explaining to the group home staff person who was with me
1. On Saturday March 21, 2009 I started having painful burning everytime I
urinate
2. On Wednesday March 25, 2009 I noticed a Rash that is on the skin under my
tummy near my legs which this reoccurs
I have been told by doctors that the rash under my tummy is both fungus and
Yeast. My Group home staff thinks at all times that the Rash that is on the skin
under my tummy near my legs which reoccurs caused me to have a Yeast infection
which showed up in my urine specimen and that this would be cured if I use the
cream that is for my rash that is on the skin
The painful Burning everytime I urinate started way before I noticed a Rash that
is on the skin under my tummy near my legs .
My Group home staff thinks at all times that if I have a Rash on the skin under
my tummy near my legs which reoccurs which I am suppose to use cream for will
cure any burning in my urine if I have burning in my urine.
My group home staff does not want to help me when I am feeling burning in my
urine at all in getting to the doctor to get this taken care of and looked at.
How can my Rash that is on the skin under my tummy near my legs which reoccurs
cause me to have a yeast infection that shows up in any urine specimen because I
have been told by doctors that the rash under my tummy is both fungus and Yeast.
Does anyone have this that can relate to me with this?

Laurel, three lac never worked for me even when I did adhere to the
diet, neither did it work for my mother. It was just expensive. I am
told however that a probiotic called Inner Garden Flora will work over a
period of three months or so, and taking tons of quadrazyme enzymes in
between the probiotics will eat up the yeast. I just started so can't
tell you yet if it is a for sure thing. A lady that sells it can be
found at ruthful@...

I have most of the symptoms of chronic yeast infection. Lately, I
have been researching on the internet and have found, to my dismay,
the description of various no-carb diets meant to eradicate a
systemic yeast infection.
Well, if it is true that nothing but absolute adherence to this diet
will get rid of the yeast, then I fear I will have it forever. I am
a Type I (insulin dependent) diabetic, which I am sure has worsened,
if not caused, my yeast situation. But because of this, it is
absolutely impossible for me to go 3 weeks (let alone 3 months) w/o
consuming some amount of simple sugars. When I have an insulin
reaction, it is necessary for me to take some simple sugars in order
to get my blood sugar back into the normal ranges. If I don't, I
would be subject to unconsciousness and brain damage.
Has this problem ever been discussed here?
Thanks,
Laurel
Hi - where are you located? I would be interested in the kefir grains if you're anywhere near me.... Arizona that would be.
Thanks for your offer!

Hi...you may want to try and switch to a different probiotic. You may have developed an allergy to the one you take..thus causing an allergic reaction (muscle pain). YES allergies CAN and DO cause muscle tightness and pain. It is one of my primary symptoms if I consume something I am allergic to.

Hi All-
I have been on a yeast-starvation diet for almost 3 months now and
overall many of previous symptoms are gone (severe muscle pain, IBS,
contipation, PMS, anxiety & sinus headaches) which is great!

probiotics because my body can only tolerate just a very small amount
at a time. Every time I increase my probiotics, I get large & painful
knots in my muscles primarily around my neck & shoulder area. This is

Jim, you need a LOT of help and a ton more than you will be able to get
from any group. YOu are going to have to do a LOT to really get well
and stay that way. You need a lot of education on alternative health
(because there is a lot out there) in order to make right choices. The
best all around program to follow that I can suggest after years of
trying everything is to purchase Dr. Schultz's candida program. This
gets at the ROOT of ANY problem that you may have that is CAUSING the
yeast condition in the first place and also gives you the nutrition you
need which is ESSENTIAL to get well. Dairy products will not help and
in the long run will hinder you, especially if you have a lot of flem.
This healing package is under $500. and will take care of just about any
problem you have. You should be able to find his web site by typing
in Dr. Richard Schulze.
The phone number is 310-576-6565 or at least it used to be and is listed
in my materials as such. He also has some tapes and books that are
EXCELLENT.
Steps are first to cleanse your body and bowels of heavy metals and
toxins, then get good nutrition from a good whole food vitamins source
such as Dr. Schulze's Super food, go on a carbohydrate free diet (as
much as is possible), get off all meats and dairy, and follow the rest
of his program with other herbs and suppliments. This way you won't
spend YEARS and thousands of dollars on hit and miss like I just did
trying to find the root cause of a chronic and resistant condition.
