HI,
   I  used Stevia while in treatment of my Candida - and found it to be an excellent alternative - I used it mostly in my porridge as a sweetener. You do have to be very careful as a very little goes a long way... if you do use too much it will be bitter instead of sweet.  I live in Saskatchewan, Canada & was able to purchase it in the health food stores here... I used the powder form but there is also a liquid form which might be easier to use if using it in baking...
