Re: [candida-testimonials] New to list: Need assistance with diet

If you are a type A blood type by all means a veggie diet would be good for you. However, if you do that get on a B complex vitamin formula or you will become deficient. The best thing is to follow the blood type diet in my personal opinion. It works and I have seen some miracles happen with digestive problems. It helps keep the body in balance and candida is caused by an imbalance to start with. If you restrict the diet to much you will create another imbalance you will have to deal with. A balanced diet is key. But, no sugar, simple grains, corn, processed junk foods, you know, the obvious garbage that has no nutritional value--and I am not talking about things with added synthetic vitamins as being classified as food--they are junk as well.

The constipation could be a lack of magnesium? Try colosan, it works. I would start your diet for a few weeks then move to the herbs and what ever else you are going to try. Little secret gang, enzymes enzymes enzymes are the key here. Candex in addition to digestive enzymes not made from aspergillus niger, and a couple herbs,  a very good probiotic, colostrum wouldn't hurt or beta glucans for the immune system. Extremely large doses of ascorbates would not hurt either.

Can't answer your question about colonics, never tried it.

Hope that helps,

Dan

My question is do I just go on a veggie diet (i'll need to read more
about kefir and cultured veggies, never heard of them before) for a
month, suffer thru the die off, then start the grapefruit seed
extract for a couple of months? How often do I need to do colonics
to keep from having a toxic overload. I know my liver had been
congested from the increasing burden as I started to get constipated
consistently even though i always had a high fiber diet.

I'm not seeing a doctor or naturopath about this, I should probably
get a referral. I'm in Sonoma county, no calif.

I'll be reading the archived posts for info, but any info would be
appreciated.
