Usually, people with diabetes get chronic candida. However, Type 2 diabetes is rampant right now since people generally do not eat right any more. The high amounts of sugar in todays diets coupled with the complete lack of nutrition are the cause, of both. Although candida is certainly triggered by all the other usual ways also. . The sugar of course does feed the yeast.
