I am a new member of this group and I seriously need help. I joined hoping
some of you here could give me some input as to whether or not it sounds like I
am suffering from candida or something else. All I know to do is to tell your
all my symptoms and what has been happening to me. I am now quite seriously
sick and my Dr. can find NOTHING wrong with me.
I have a history of numberous allergies to the point of being disabled from them
but have a recent problem that started about four months ago.
I am 57 years old now. I have been throwing up for about 15 years, ever since I
move to Florida---an average of about 3 to ten times per day up until about two
months ago when I ended up going to the emergency room because I felt faint and
weak and was somewhat low on potassium. Every muscle in my body hurt in my
arms and legs. I started taking potassium and then suspecting systemic yeast,
I asked My Dr. for a difucan tablet which I took. After taking the diflucan I
did not throw up (only three times total in the last two months) and when I did
throw up, I noticed most of the horrible stomach slime was not there. But now
it has been a month since I took the diflucan and the pain in my legs is better,
but my arms hurt and feel weaker than ever as if I can hardly use them. When I
strain myself I really get sick. Also some of the slime is back when I threw up
today from something I should not have eaten. What I want to know is, can a
systemic yeast infection cause this kind of pain and weakness and throwing up???
Also what happens to your body and what do you lose most when you throw up a lot
over a period of years and do not take any vitamins, minerals etc..??? What is
the main thing that you lose?
ALSO:
Can you have yeast in your stomach and intestines without haveing any white
spots on your tongue or in your throat? The only thing I have that I thought
to be abnormal for a symptom is the thick slime that is sometimes in my throat
at night and feels like it is going to choak me. It is clear coloured and not
white----so I just thought it to be protective somach slime. What ever it is,
is so thick I cannot shake it off of my hand-----YUK. Could this just be normal
stomach slime or is that abnormal?
I feel literally like I am not going to be able to continue on feeling the way I
do and there is nowhere for me to turn. My Dr. did give me some troche (mycelex
tablets) to chew on five times and day and just started it today but the way I
feel it does not seem like I am going to be able to tolerate it for more than a
day and I am supposed to take it for two weeks!!! Tell me what you are all
doing to cure your yeast? I am eating the right foods and avoiding sugar and
starches almost entirely so I am OK there but I need some kind of a cure if this
is my problem. I got bad when my step dad left my mother and I had a lot of
stress and had to move her by myself out of a two bedroom house so am thinking
it came about under stress and somewhat over work----but MOSTLY high stress.
It seems like it could be fungus but I need to be certain because I SURE FEEL
BAD. WOW. Any help or suggestions I will welcome. Thanks for all your
time. Steph
