If you look at the soft tissue sarcomas as a group, for instance, as a cluster themselves (& don't focus on the exact location of the soft tissue tumor)... maybe they are not all that rare. http://home.gci.net/~blessing/pages/allthatrare.htm

Cancers may be related to a commonly used solvent/pesticide/poison:
2-butoxyethanol & similar chemicals. Not everything that is going wrong is necessarily diagnosed. Other health concerns could be there going unnoticed, for instance.
