Reportability: If a patient has a prostate bx in the physician
office, comes to our facility with a week or two for a staging work up
that doesn't show mets, then goes elsewhere to have seed implants, is
he considered reportable for us and if so, what class of case? As far
as I know, he has disease because he has not had any treatment yet.
What if I do not know he is going elsewhere for treatment? If the
physician is a staff physician, and it is unknown if he had tx then
would he be COC 1? And, what about staging? Will these require
staging?
