I think NCRA has a work study document on abstracting standards, but it is not
current. Industry standards of 1.25 per hour for abstracting are being used
right now by outsourcing companies. As far as collecting the date of first
recurrence and disease status, why would the hospital not want to collect the
information? How are you going to measure the effectiveness of the treatments
and the outcomes?

Thank you. I will go into the NCRA website and see what I can find out. I don't know why the registry is not valued more than it is. We collect quality data...
