Job Title: Cancer Registrar/Certified Data Manager
Job Location: Vail, Colorado

Medical Center has an opening for a full-time year round Cancer
Registrar. The Cancer Registrar is responsible for reporting cancer
statistics, performing case finding, abstracting, follow-up, quality
assurance, and publication of an annual report. Accurate reporting to
the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (AcoS) and the
State of Colorado. HS Graduate or equiv. Successful completion of a
cancer registry training program or medical records coding program,
Min. of 2 yrs exp. as a Lead Cancer Registrar or Cancer Program
Coordinator. Supervisory exp. pref. Extensive knowledge of current
coding schemes used in Cancer Registry data collection (i.e. SEER,
TNM, ICD-O, ROADS, ACoS). Certified Tumor Registrar's Certification
req. w/proof of current continuing medical education status.
