The checklist for bone marrows requires that specimen adequacy be
mentioned in the report. Of course everybody realizes that an
unsatisfactory specimen is not going to render a diagnosis.
However, a diagnosis sometimes can be made on a limited sample and
it is important to state whether the sample was limited or
satisfactory.
