Pt had D & C and hysteroscopy w/polypectomy during the same
procedure - path reports from that procedure stated - Uterus,
endometrium, polypectomy-well diff endometrial adenoca AND Uterus,
endometrium, curettage-well diff endometrial adenoca. The lady then
had a hysterectomy with no residual disease. How would I code the
D&C w/hysteroscopy w/polypectomy? As a diagnostic procedure or as a
surgical procedure?
