First, I would suggest investing in the COC publication "The Complete
Guide to Interpreting the Cancer Program Standards". EVERYTHING you
need is in there. The QI Plans that are being requested on this site,
there are sample forms in there.
Second, I caution you about requesting interpretation information for
your survey from other registrars. While they are well meaning,
Standard 7 is very difficult...many people have many different
interpretations. If you have questions about a COC standard...call
them or use the I&R. We're talking about your facility passing
survey! As an example check out the I&R transaction id #: 5983 for an
explanation about studies and enhancements. If you do a study that
does not produce an improvement, YOU CAN STILL COUNT THAT AS A STUDY,
you just need to find another improvement.
