Evie,
I thought I got the email from you and you got it from Marla and Marla got it
from somewhere.
So, I posted it on the Web site to share it with our group.
I'm glad to read that your vision has stabilized. Seeing is great and we usually
take it for granted. Only when it goes bad do we pay attention. My 94 year old
mother fell on her face a few weeks ago and smashed her glass frames. I felt bad
that she was in the hospital and now rehab (shoulder and leg injuries). So, I
took her out of rehab to an optometrist so she could have new glasses. I drove 5
hours to get the glasses to her yesterday. Today she complained that she
couldn't read the bulletin board from her bed. I have glasses that work fine and
I can't read the bulletin board from more than two feet away. I told her she
will have to wait until she can walk from her bed to the bulletin board to read
it. Then I offered her binoculars to read from her bed.
Shalom,
Chuck
