Re: [cancer_survivors_gathering_place] Re: Bad Day at Black Rock

I'm a Honda girl always and forever.  We own two Honda's at the time - a CRV we got back in 2000 and the 2005 Civic Coupe my husband got me for going through chemo and radiation.  The Civic will be with me for the rest of my life!  Even when it completely dies out, I'll put it in the backyard and turn it into a giant flower pot!

Have fun with the new car.

Marsha,

I have a 2009 Ford Fusion. I was concerned about miles per gallon
because the EPA estimate was much lower than my 2007 Ford Fusion, but
I learned the EPA changed the rating system. The testing now includes
a range with the worst mpg, the best mpg, and the big number is the
median mpg. I'm not the most conservative driver and I get slightly
better than the best mpg. I can't imagine how poorly someone must
drive to get the median. When the testing gets the worst they must try
to blast off from the Kennedy Space Center.

One of the best qualities of the Fusion has been the rear seat
comfort. People really like the ride back there. The 2009 has a
feature that is supposed to take control of the braking and steering
if the car goes into a skid. I hope I never have to learn what it does.

Shalom,
Chuck
