I will pray for her as well. I have been really busy and just caught up on the emails. They brought tears to my eyes. I am now three years cancer free and just graduated to every six month check-ups! That in inself is a wonderful feeling.
I would like to ask for prayers for my dad, Jerry Ross, as today he had out-patient surgery to place radiation "seeds" in his prostate. My dad is 74 and I am very close with him. We lost my brother to Aids 14 years ago the 1st of this month and October is still a tough month. I know that he could use the prayers.
I would also like (always want something, I do) prayers for my friend, Kate Redfern. She had a mastectomy 11 years ago. I saw her yesterday and she was going in for an appointment as she found a lump on the remaining breast. Have been praying for her, and I know it helps. She said she will get in touch when there is something to tell, but I know she will feel the prayers and know that she is being thought of. Next time I talk to her, I am going to let her know about this group as well. Didn't think about it previously as she has her own group of surviors that she talks with, but as we all know, us survirors are always there for one another.
If or maybe when there is a time/place for everyone to meet, please count me in. You have been an amazing, very important part of my life, without ever having met any of you face to face. Thank you for being there! Laurie

I will be more than happy to pray for her. Do you have an email address for her?
