Dan's cousin, Jeanne, suggested to a newly-diagnosed breast cancer
friend of hers that she get in touch with me. Ginny and I spoke
today. She's been getting the long waits while they check everything
routine and has been waiting nearly two months since diagnosis to
begin chemo. A PET scan, a liver biopsy and an ultrasound showed that
there is cancer in her liver as well, and possibly in her bones. She
lives in Woodland Park, Colorado, and doesn't have anyone near her
that understands the loneliness, fear and frustration that we all have
felt when we first start this journey.
Her prognosis post-chemo is not good; maybe three years at most,
according to her doctor. I told her about this group and suggested
she pop in and say hello. Needless to say, please put her in your
prayers. She has a hard row to hoe ahead of her and will need all the
help she can
get.
Thanks!
