Hi Chuck and all.. . . yes I'll break the rules too. . . to say a huge THANKS to you for keeping this place going. The website for cancer survivors that is . . literally saved my life. . . all those years ago. It is now 16 years since my diagnosis w/breast cancer. . . . I had just got my internet hooked up. . . and did a search on cancer. . . and the words surviving cancer. . . after a few minutes. . . there was our Jim McCulloch's site with words of welcome and encouragement and sharing their own first hand experiences with this monster disease. . . connections to other websites to get information, but the uniqueness of this site was the encouragement stemming from experience, first hand. . AND also the emotional support of other survivors who shared encouragement and good humor, welcoming me and giving me the courage to stand strong. It became a family connecting sometimes several times a day from all over the country and world. I've made connections with folks from distant states and even countries that have become extended family. ..and cherished.
ok. . . I'll say it AGAIN.. . . . THANK YOU CHUCK. . . hope all is well with you. . . and keep on keeping on. . . the battle against this monster disease.
Love you. . . Evie in NJ . . . cancer survivor. . . oh yeah

Hi chuck, and I'll do what you said not to...thanks for the welcome. Sounds like you were doing really good till you got all that exercise. I do half and hour on the treadmill every day and that's plenty for me. Of course I don't know what I will feel like after I start chemo., guess that will be the first week of October. I have some swell looking wigs though. Talk to you later,Paula

Paula,
Welcome to the crowd. I have lots of issues. Nothing is bothering me
enough at this time to complain about - OK, last night I was at a
running club workout and we were scheduled to run 600 meters 6 times
with a 200 meter jog between each. I did the first 3 fine, but overall
pain increased until I dropped out in the middle of the 4th 600m
interval. Today was a lousy day as I have a slight fever and
everything that can hurt - does. Whoopee!
It seems that just when I think this Web site is no longer useful
someone shows up with a need. I guess that means I will renew it for
another few years in November.
Now I have to convince my ISP to deliver my "survivor" email.
Periodically they block my email just to be nasty. I can really begin
to dislike COMCAST.
Shalom,
Chuck
P.S. Please don't post a lot of thank you's. Just reading posts makes
my day..
